I am not getting spark to cycl 3&4. All the reseach I have done tells me to test the stator, trigger and switch box (damaged wires also). The outboard ran great last year. The problem started when I took the boat to have the carbs rebuilt because of a gas leak. The guy that was doing the work had a major health issue and stopped working on it. I reinstalled the carbs and put everything back together which included the starter. It turns over but no spark to 3&4. 1&2 fire. This is a new outboard to me so I am lost on how to trouble shoot it. Thank you in advance for any help.

Does anyone have good directions for pulling the flywheel and replacing the trigger?

The wires from the stator to the recitifier should be replaced and could cause the switchbox to go bad also. The electrical systems on the motors are very touchy when it comes to working correctly. Bad connectios, spinning the motor over without the plugs being grounded hooking battrey charger up wrong will fry switchboxes, recitifers, and other electrical parts very quickly. JMO
