My 25 hp Merc is electric start. It starts and runs fine on ear muffs. When I get to the water it starts and runs fine. When I cruise to the fishing hole and shut it off I have to use the pull rope to restart. When I get home it starts fine on the muffs with the switch. Could the solenoid be sticking and overheating during the long run?
