83 Merc ToP fuel pump suction question....

Hello all, I am starting the final phases of my GT-160 restoration and it time to line out systems. My question is related to the fuel pump......what kind of distance can it draw from with out issue? The fuel cell in the GT is in the bow, so its approximately a 15ft run from the tank to motor. Will I have any issues with the pump having to draw from that far? if so, what are some options?

Any guidance is much appreciated.

Normally a ToP would use a 5/16" ID fuel line. I would not think that run should be an issue, however, use a 3/8" ID fuel line, if you are unsure. That should eliminate any issue.
