Hello,<br /><br />I have 200 hp Mariner, when boat is in water and put in gear for acceleration the engine has no power and starts to die, as if loading up.<br /><br />I have done the following with same problem:<br />1. Cleaned carbs/jets/float level<br />2. Cleaned fuel tank, new fuel<br />3. Compression check,, ok<br />4. New stator<br />5. New trigger <br />6. New spark plugs<br />7. Switch plates checked-ok<br />8. Coils checked-ok<br />9. New plug wires<br /><br />I have engaged choke while trying to accelerate, and motor starts to load up/stall.<br /><br />Everyonce in awhile when idling around the motor seems to surge for a moment.<br /><br />Motor idles great, starts up great, and when boat is out of water, and motor is in water tank, the boat accelerates/powers up fine.<br /><br />Any suggestions appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Cory
