I was out today and she was running great for about an hour just cruising up and down the waterway when all of a sudden she started to lose power. Then she jumped right back where she was before. Then about 2 min later she started to fade and the fuel bulb went tight (squeezed together), and she cut off. So I went back and pumped the bulb and then started her up again. Went for about 3 more min and the same thing. This happend over and over for about ten min then nothing for about a half hour when we got in. Not sure what to make of it. Any ideas???

Fuel restriction upstream (toward fuel tank) of the bulb.Possible causes: pickup tube in fuel tank obstructed or trash in tank, fuel tank not venting properly, anti-syphon valve on tank fuel fitting defective, primer bulb defective.

You have a fuel restriction.

It is either the tank VENT or the anti siphon valve which is built into tank outlet.

Quick check.

Does the engine do the same thing with the fuel FILLER cap loose. If so, it is a tank feed problem. The most likely culprit is a valve built into the fuel tank outlet (to engine). You can remove the outlet and remove the check valve, for testing only.
