Resealed, pressure and vacuum tests all good , assembled the upper and lower together and after a hour of run time upper unit can take about 6 pumps of gear oil to top up, any ideas on leak when outdrive is running?
water pump housing not sealed correctly including using permatex # 2 on the bolts. this will cause water to enter upper gearcase and oil to escape through exhaust
