Hello,
I have a '85 115Hp Mercury O/B inline 6.
Problem is my "Tower of power" doesn't want to get out of the hole, just bog down instead, especially under heavier load. Suspect oversized prop.
Don't have the manual, and I'd prefer not to have to buy it just for this bit of info I need:
Anyone know the RPMs at WOT for this engine?
Thanks.

Eric, I show that the manufacturer's recommended range to be 4,750 to 5,250 RPM with a lower gear ratio of 2.07:1, but if you will call your local Mercury dealership they will be able to tell you for sure.

Thanks for the replies guys. Robalo, I'll send you a PM here in a minute to make sure your numbers agree with H. And Then I'll triple check it all with a call to the mercury dealer! Thanks again.
