85 evinrude carb. swap

i have a 1973 model 85 horse evinrude. i also have a pair of 115 evinrudes as well as a 135horse model all are 1973 to 76 models. i was wondering if swapping the carbs from one of the other engines would give me any extra power in my 85 and if so would it be enought to worry with swapping in the first place.<br /><br /> THANKS

jm,<br /><br />No, the 85 actually was a smaller displacement engine. I believe it was 96.9 cid and the 115/135 were 99.6 cid.<br /><br />There were other differences too.
