85 force...rough idle no power at ALL

ok so took the bayliner out this year and all seemed well, got half way across the lake and stopped to play.... tried to restart engine had a difficult time of getting her to fire up... then it would idle for a second then go thump (like a misfire idle misfire idle etc) a few time try to idle then thump again... tried to wot and it almost flat died! limped it across the lake at just above idle, with no power at all.... took 2 hrs to go .25mi. got home and checked plugs all seemed ok replaced anyway... then tried to start and hard starting again.... got her to run but it did the same thing as on the lake.
took comp test best I got was 90psi... I think I did hear the over heat alarm chime at the lake and it took forever to get water out of my telltail.... should almost be instant but took like 15=20 seconds... so im thinking I blew the head gasket or worse....and the impeller is going to get a new one

Do another comp test with a different guage.
Most auto parts stores will loan you one.
If it really is 90?? It's been smoked and your gonna need to pull the head and check the gasket and cylinders.
If you THINK?? You heard the buzz and you probably need an impeller or more?

Is 90 PSI the best of all cylinders? Or just one cylinder with the rest being below 90? Can you post all cylinder readings? If after re-testing and readings are still the same it is time to open and inspect the head, pistons and cylinders. Post your tests & inspection results.

Ok so i just thought id give an update.... SO TOOK ANOTHER COMP READING AND WAS ONLY GETTING 70 PSI IN ALL CYLINDER used a freinds pressure guage and only got 60! ok so now im depressed .went and bought a snap on guage and guessw hat... 135 on all three....so thank god all that is ok.... took carbs down and ordered gasket kits and went threw them. a little trash but one float was way outta wack SO RE ADJUSTED .... SYNCED ALL THE CARBS AND CHECKED TIMING ALL WAS WELL set at 28 degrees static no plugs in wot throttle and cranking...... STUPID THING FIRED RIGHT UP.... BUT I DID SEE A CREASE IN THE FUEL PUMP DIAPHRAM SO GONNA GO AHEAD AND REPLACE THAT TOO...so all in all carbs were off used Frank A's you tube video do adjust and sync ... thanks Frank! and all should be ok now i think....
