85 galaxy

I dont know if this is in the right area or not but here go's. I am looking at another boat. It is a 85 Galaxy 16' with a 120hp Mercruiser. Has ski's, jackets, trailer, cover, bimini cover etc. The guy is asking 2600. Do you guys think this is a good price ? Thanks for the help and advice.

This should go in the "Boat topics and questions" section.

2600....It really depends on the condition.
If the floor,stringers and transom are solid,the engine checks out and everything works then that may be a fair price.

Whatever you do have it checked over good and do a sea trial.
Test running on the trailer tells you nothing...
