Hi,<br />I have a 89 Bayliner with a 85 HP L-drive. It idles okay and performs okay going from idle to full throttle. The problem is going from idle to anything less than full throttle it stalls. Any ideas would be appreciated.
We had a marina take the carbs off and all the passages were clear. The engine still stalls with mid-range acceleration, only under load, any thoughts would be appreciated. This is murder!<br />Thanks
I know this is 8 yrs old but did you ever figure this out? My '85 force 85hp idles fine and does mid to full fine but at speeds slightly above idle (like no wake zones) it kicks and stalls.
