i'm trying to find out the year of it'because the vin number is gone' this number is off a evinrude that i've found that has all the same number on it motor parts asthe johnson as mine 85393M J05667 thank you <br /><br />the cover on my says it's a johnson,but the evinrude v4 85 hp has the same cover. i thought maybe the cover got switch be for i got it, because all the the numbers on the moter parts on mine matches the ones on the evinrude thank you .
