I stored this for a few years and decided to get it out this year. It started right up with ear muffs on it. Put it in the lake and no full throttle. Idecided to follow the fuel. Connected engine to a new fuel tank new fuel line and cleaned the filter in the fuel pump. Started and got the same results.
I noticed when i tried to adjust the idle mixture on the top carb I got no difference at all.I can screw the mixture needle all the way closed or take it out and the idle doesn't change at all. IfI adjust the bottom carb I can shut it off by screwing it in or flood it by richening it. I haven't checked fuel pump pressure yet but will. any advice would be gratly appreciated

Thanks Rickster, I Read the thing you posted to the guy with carb problems on how to time it. I will be putting that to good use also

Johnny, It sounds like either you have a clogged upper carb, or no spark to cylinder 1 or 2.
