Thanks everyone!!

I've had one for a little over a year now and it runs great I've had a few problems but there are some guys on this forum with a lot of knowledge of that motor if you do have any problems good luck to you

I have an 850 that I absolutely love. There are a few parts that are NLA, fuel lines for one, but easy enough to make your own. If you can, do a compression check on the motor before buying. When was the last time it was run?

They are a good engine if properly maintained. As suggested do a compression check and good inspection of the internal wiring as these year models are known for bad harnesses. If harness has a lot of tape, splices, etc see if owner will reduce price as these are about $140

Guys, thanks for all the advice, I looked at the boat yesterday and it is solid, no rot anywhere, just dirty, its a 1974. He wants 1250.00 or OBO, I hope to get with the owner tomorrow and we'll see how or if it runs. I'll try and get a compression test on it. Again, thanks everyone for your help.
