I have a 1976 Mercury 850 85hp serial no. 4367785. I am wanting to put a water pump kit in this guy but I am concerned about getting the wrong kit. I would greatly appreciate some help to make sure I purchase the correct kit.

This is the kit I used on my 1977 merc 850. Just be sure the lower housing
is seated properly or it will overhaet at higher rpms, but run fine at idle.
