85HP new batt no power

[87basstriker]

have a 1987 85hp, no problems for 2 years, last trip out cranked but sounded like it drained battery,replaced battery with new. Now the little gremlins are getting to me. tilt/trim and elec choke off key work fine motor up and down and choke movement. Here goes, all connections seem to be finenone loose no fuses bad no power to any accessories horn,lights,fish finder,and anything on dash. through info off this site bench tested starter-spun like crazy,bench tested voltage regulator-clicking noise heard along with continuity indication, from old post tested rectifier--according to post everthing checked out ok except ac to ac terminals no reading either way. Have good reading at voltage regulator but nothing happens when the key is turned. What am i missing? would greatly appreciate the help!

had same issue check circuit breaker in cowling and then check for 12v at the crank side of the swithch.... it you have these the solinoid is history

There should be a small power and ground wire also connected to the battery that goes to the dash to power the accessories. The ignition switch power comes from the engine i believe.
