'86 Black Max XR2 150 HP update/video on lake

Hi, bought this engine last December to go on a 2002 21 ft Larson runabout that I obtained around the same time sans engine. I submitted several threads during the process of getting the package going and received valuable help and advice from the board ranging from the cooling system, power trim, and setup. I took JMartin's advice and installed a water pressure gauge and am very happy with the results overall. The engine and boat are running well and even though the cowling indicates a 200 HP (cowling was in better shape), the engine is a XR2 150 HP. It pushes the Larson right at 40-42 MPH with a 17P prop
