my question is when i come to a stop and shut the boat off my motor sputters then shuts down. what is the cause of this? she runs fine the rest of the time.

thanks for the info. that makes sense because it would happen after pulling a tuber and when they fall i turn around and shut her right off

Idle too high, engine too hot, octane too low/timing too advanced....
