Hello, This is a question regarding loss of power. It started a couple of days ago and has got me worried.I fish for Muskie and spend much of my time idling (trolling). The other day I almost got caught by a storm but made it back in time, however, on the way back after about 25 mins at 3200 rpm 30 mph, The engine started to bog down. I slowed down and checked fuel, temp, oil pressure ect. all look normal. So off I went again. Same thing. I found that I if I stayed just off plane and around 2000-2200 rpm I could chuge along. Need some advice guys!!! C  apt Chris

Water in the gas, bad gas? Try running some STP or HEAT (gas drier, essentially alcohol to absorbe the water). Also, check/replace your fuel filter. Check cap, rotor, plugs, wires, points, etc.

It's a Fuel Issue....
Replace the gas filter....
Check the fuel pump.....
Check the carb....
Tank,....Lines....etc....
I'm betting on the filter....

I think bondo's right. Check the little fine screen in the carb. inlet.
