'86 Volvo impeller question

Hi I have a 86 volvo penta project boat. It is a aq131a 4 cylinder. When I got it running notice that its not pumping water. So i checked the ipmeller looks good so i check if impeller is turning but its not there is a slot at the end of the impeller shaft but when i went in deeper i notice that theres nothing for the slot to slide on its just a bolt head and a rubber sleave maybe its missing a slot pin so if anybody could help me on how this system is suposed to work i would be most grateful thanks

There is supposed to be a cross piece in there. If you go to http://boatinfo.no/lib/volvo/manuals/131_171.html#/82 and enter page 83, there is a good picture of it.
You can purchase a new one at http://www.iboats.com/Boat-Parts-Ac...5--searched.1--session_id.105302905?q=18-3175 I make this the one for your drive, but I couldn't come up with a Volvo- Penta part number to double check it.

​How are you supplying water?
The drive has a 1/2" hole on the bottom that needs to be plugged or it won't pull water while on muffs.
