Well I took my flat out the other day to run it and it ran great for the first hour to 2 hours. Then I was going up an unfamiliar bayou and hit a small snag( only tipped it). So I stopped and idled a little ways up and then turned around, floored it and it jumped out of the water, once on top it started to miss at full speed or stalling out but would never die or come off plane, just a bub bub then run good then do it again bub bub bubbbbbb bubbbb bub . It cant be getting air in the fuel because everything is new, new fuel lines etc.
I decarbed it last night and havent taken it on the water yet but I'm pretty sure it is still doing the same thing. checked the high jet and it was clear.
So could a reed valve cause it to do that? Coil pack?
Its confusing to me because when you are at idle and floor it it works great! Fuel is being dumped and the motor is kicking behind until it reaches top end.
