87' Classic 50 chokes out when I push throttle down

My engine runs ok in gear and in neutral hooked to a garden hose. But when I put the boat in the lake the engine quits on me when I put the throttle down when it is in gear. It works fine in neutral at low and high rpms. ???

I would appear that you are not running on all cyl's. Do a compression test and also test the spark. Also look for wet or dry spark plugs as this will also give an indication of what is happening with your engine.<br /><br />TMD
