What step can I take to winterize my motor until spring? Right now its not running (see post about ignition problems, still not fixed) I have decided to wait till spring to do the mechanical repairs, but I want to make sure its winterized. I read somewhere that OB's are self draining, is that true, or do I need to try and pump some winterize fluid in the block and if so what type of fluid is recommended, and where would I put it in at? there are 2 rubber hoses on heads that I'd guess would be good access points to put in the winterize solution. Any advice appreciated. Never worried about winterize of an outboard before, but this is also the largest motor I ever had before, and since its not running presently don't want to have any major damage done by cold weather.
