87 force 125 - no spark

87 FORCE 125 - NO SPARK ALL 4 PLUGS. No prior symptoms. On lake ran fine. normal shutdown, tried restart ? no spark all 4 plugs. Pulled plug boots for spark check, no spark.

Sounds like the lanyard was pulled off of the Kill Switch, or Kill Switch itself has shorted out. Under normal operation, the Kill Switch should read "open". You can test with a meter, or pull one of the wires off of the back of the Kill switch.

If that's OK, check to see if the semi-flexible strip magnet has come unglued off of the inside circumference of the flywheel. If so, use some epoxy and re-glue the magnet back in place. JB Weld or similar epoxy works well.

Hello Commander, I was hoping you'd chime in. Thank you very much for your quick response. I'll test the switch tonight. by removing one wire off switch will remove/bypass the kill switch from the system, acting like the switch is open? I'll let you tomorrow.
