Hello,

I'm putting together a 1987 Mariner 90hp 3cyl engine that I took apart last year to replace a worn out crankshaft and connecting rods/bearings, etc.

I'm now down to the last few details and can't figure out (nor can I remember) where to connect a black rubber hose, about 1' and 1/2 length, 2-3mm internal diameter with one open end and the other end being a screwable piece with what looks to be a screen/filter at the end.

I have the SELOC manual but there's no reference (that I can find) to that rubber hose or what it connects to (both ends).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tks

An acquiantence told it may be called a bleed hose. Looking at the SELOC manual, I think, although I'm not sure, that one end connects to the lower end cap (on the bottom of the crank case) and the ckeck valve (top of the crank case).

Can anyone confirm this or do I got it wrong?
