Re: 87 searay bowrider replacing stringers
Hey try glueproducts.com . They have everything you could ever need. As for the foam, a 2 gallon kit of 2 pound density polyurethane costs about 45 bucks. This yields about 8 cubic feet on a hot day. This would fill a big garbage can.. It's a two part 1 to 1 mixture. Try to use less than a quart at a time. Try a pint total the first time to get an idea of how much to use.. Use disposible containers "clear plastic one's work best" avalible at home depot or lowes to mix the stuff. Pour 2 equil parts, mix until it just starts to rise, then pour into place. WORK QUICKLY BECAUSE IT WORKS QUICKLY!!!!

Once it has set " takes 15-30 minutes" you can add more. When you have filled the area you will probably have to level the surface to make it flat. You can do this with a large hand saw and or a sander of some kind to knock it down flat. When cutting or sanding wear a dust mask. When mixing wear plastic gloves cause the stuff sticks to everything and is difficult to remove from your fingers. If you have to clean up spills acetone works best. Have you already installed your floor???
