87 wellcraft classic 190 good/bad?

I am looking to buy an 87 wellcraft classic 190 19ft with a four cyl 165hp merc i/o<br />Anyone ever own one or have info such as speed, reliability, known problems?<br /><br /> Please remove this post, I moved it to i/o section.

A friend of mine had a '87 192 cuddy, Same motor. Pretty good for skiing and general recreation, but not a real fast boat (maybe 34-36 tops). Be on the lookout for rot in the stringers and transom. Wellcraft had trouble with this in the late 80's.
