Guys I am new to boats and motors and have been told by some that after I come in each time I should run the motor out of gas. Is this a good idea or no? Thanks.

SeaFoam or Stabil. Stabil is the oldest and most available. Running your engine dry after each outing means the engine runs lean for a bit just before it quits. Since there is oil mixed with fuel, no fuel means no oil to lubricate things. Does that sound like a practice you'd want to continue with? You don't run your car out of gas each time you use it do you? Why would you want to on your boat.
