Here's my problem. Took my boat out couple weeks ago ran and started fine till it was time to head in. Wouldn't start. I determined that there was no spark and started trouble-shooting. Read some past forums and got some good advice and tried numerous things. Did the trick with the rectifier by unpluging the ac terminals and motor fired up. Bad rectifier. However for the H of it i put the ac connections back on and it fired. Ran it off and on several times and no problems. Took it out the next day, started fine, ran fine, started and stopped several times no prob. Then it was time to head in and boom, no spark yet again. The safety laynard has been eliminated since i got the boat. The rectifier has continuity only one way on all terminals so am I correct in thinking that's not the prob? I'm at a loss. All wires seem to be good with no breaks and all seem to have good continuity. Seems to have power to bar with all the wires coming from the key switch and the grounds all seem to check out. This weekend I'm pulling the flywheel but I don't think I'll find anything out of the ordinary. I'm lost and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my post.
