Hey guys I've got an 88 Force 50 mounted on a 15' aluminum runabout. At first I was dealing with some serious ventilation issues which I've got mostly corrected through the use of a jack plate, angle correction and also a hyrdofoil. I am still getting a slipping feeling in some cases during high throttle. I decided to index my prop before heading out today and sure enough my marks were off about 1/2" or more when I got home. Safe to say it is slipping? Not sure if it went around and around or just the half inch or what. I am still green when it comes to boats and boating so bare with me. If it is indeed "slipping" as they say I will need some information from the experts (you guys). Is rebuilding the existing prop an option? Cupping? There is a prop shop nearby..Not interested in a $300 prop that's for sure I think I paid $400 for the motor and Ive basically built everything on the boat from scrap metal at the sheet metal shop I work at. So what do you guys think I should do??? Glad to answer any questions you may need to ask. Thanks!!!!

Take the prop to the shop and ask how much $$ to have a new hub pressed in.

Probably gonna tell you about $65.

Then you need to decide if you want to spend that 65, or look for a new prop for about $145.

If it's spun then it needs to be re-hubbed.
The hubs can be found but I don't know where???Anyone know where?
You'll need a 20T press and the parts OR take it to almost any outboard repair shop and they can send it out for repair.
If it only needs the hub it usually not too bad but if the blades need repair it gets more expensive.
Cupping?? Most props have the cup already built in.
The OEM prop and the motor is a matched set designed for a specific boat.
To get the right prop send the info you have to Michigan Propeller.
They have the prop for your setup. Or get the part# and look around.

A place called Rundquist sells hub stuff.
