Hi!<br />I have the later type that has 8 reeds on one side and 10 on the other. The merc manual don´t tell which way their are ment to be installed. On the reed block near the dowel pin it is marked with "UP" and an arrow that I believe should be pointing up when reassembeled.<br /><br />My conclusion is that cyl# 1,3 and 5 should have the "10 side and cyl # 2,4,6 should have the "8 side". Can anyone verify it or correct please!!!<br /><br />Thanks!!!!!<br />-G-
