The carbs I had on my 110 vro ( which the vro is bypassed) the carbs were 1-5/16" i purchased 2 rebuilt but the information was wrong on the add. Anyway the rebuilt are 1-3/16" is that ok to use? And secondly the needles that go from top to bottom of carbs with the tiny holes drilled in fhem, Are they removable? And if so how? The original carbs have splits in two places on both sides of both carbs thats why i replaced carbs.

This is what came off and my replacement carbs are identical except they are 1-3/16" instead of 1-5/16"

The 1-3/16" carburetors may be off a 90 HP model.----The plastic carburetor bowls may warp.----That means they will not work properly.-----Time to inspect.-----I can not understand why folks jump all over carburetors when there is other trouble shooting to be done.----What trouble shooting are you prepared to do ??

Like i said the needles in the old carbs are cracked all the way from top to bottom. I bought the boat this way. Couldnt get the boat past 2200 rpms in the water but ran like it was new out of water instant throttle response and full rpm's. Replace temp sensors plugs wires new prop removed fuel tank and flushed ran all new fuel lines from tank to carbs new fuel pump so then i tore into carbs and found the needles were cracked. My question was will these smaller diameter carbs work or not. And the add said came off 100hp

Now the boat would rev up rpms in the water eventually but had to keep hitting the choke thus the reason for new fuel pump

I do not understand the " needles that are cracked "----Winding it up in neutral means nothing at all.---Even in gear on the trailer is still neutral.----The prop does no work !!----It will rev up on 2 of 4 cylinders !----What other trouble shooting has been done if any ???----Any pictures ?

I changed the prop thinking old one was spun either way having an extra is a good thing. All 4 cylinders are good coils good plugs are good spark is really good on all 4. What else are you asking me to troubleshoot oh and pressure check on all 4 is 115-115-125-110. My past posts explain everything ive done already.
