Dear boat guru's,<br /><br />I own a 1988 15hp merc outboard. I accidentially shifted the motor into reverse while the motor was NOT running. (supposedly this was a no-no, according to the owners manual)<br /><br />The shifter will not return to neutral now. Please help me return my duckboat to it's previous happy state.<br /><br />Thanks<br />buckshotben
