The tach sensor wire between my rectifier & tach has an open. I ran a single wire between the tach sensor connector and the rectifier and tach works now. Is it ok to leave this wired as such or do I need to run it thru a separate switch? I can't get into the remote control wiring w/o a lot of trouble.
