88 xr2 rpms

I have a venture with a 150 xr2 on it it's turning 5000 Rpms just wondering if I could get more Rpms by raising my jack plate

The motor is 5" below the pad

Yes, but only if you have a water pressure gauge should ya start moving things around...........jmo

Most "start" with center of prop shaft 3 1/2 inches below tha pad (very bottom) unless ya pushing a sand barge with it. Need some more information. Pictures or very helpful......I'll pm ya a site that has some good stuff on motor height.........
