I just got my 120 running and was wondering that the overboard indicator on this motor just lets the water run out. Is there an orfice to restrict it or does it just run out. It has the aspirator just wondering?

May have an obstruction where the hose fitting connects to engine or anywhere between that and the restrictor nipple.Otherwise it may be an indication of a waterpump that is in need of replacement.

The indicator on loopers doesnt have the force like a crossflow. That's a fairly big hose. Just keep an eye on the pressure gauge. Make sure the gauge is picking up pressure from the adaptor plate - not T'd into the overboard line like a crossflow.

Since we're talking about water flow, does this mean you got to run it?

Dhadley I took the pressure from the plate under the powerhead. The hole where the hose used to go for the control valve. You know the one that was not used after I converted to the later thermostat housings. ;)

I just ran it on the flushette to test the no oil alarm and make sure no fuel leaks. I am going to try and run it on tues but looks like 45 degree temp might put a dampner on it

I also found out the system check oil tank cannot be hooked up to the alarm as low oil alarm is like overheat.
Finished wiring transducer and trim tabs yesturday so all is done except finishing the linc and sync and I am going to decarb a few hours before I run it.

Pressure was 15 to 18 lbs at 1200 rpm on the flushette.

(complete new water pump)

But I know it really dosen't matter on the flushette

Sounds like everything is going well. You've got the gauge hooked up right. I think it'll be fine as far a cooling goes, those numbers are right on.

Can't wait to run it!! I have it about 2 inches above the keel to start I still have about three inches to go.

It was great pumped the fuel bulb till hard, Pushed the primer and bumped the key and she fired right up. Settled into a smooth 1200 rpm.

I was running it and it died. Turns out it loaded up cause the port coils primary connections were dirty and must have stopped the coils from firing. I cleaned and greased them now its great
