89-90 dt 40,no WOT

have a 89-90 dt 40 w/ oil injection: new plugs gapped correct, bulb, carb total rebuild done by mech., new fuel pump, throttle cuts out half way could this be the rev. limiter, anyway to test. by-passed overheat and low oil cut-off i think...just disconnected(open circuit) have manuel

Does it just die suddenly , any surge/stuuttering , restart ok.

motor just seems to bog down like rpms dropped;and stays there until I back throttle down to about half way, the motor stays running if I throttle it up again again it bogs down.. just bought motor and it runs great on the stand!!!
