Any idea on a powerplay spectra where the factory tach hookup in harness at motor is? Installed edelbrock intake and carb with addition to electric choke at purple wire on + side of coil, runs and starts great but no tacho now.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... It's the grey wire to the coil's (-) terminal,....

That's what I thought but looks ok, any reason tach wouldn't register out of water on muffs?

Nope, it don't care,....

Check the harness connection at the cannon plug,.....
