I just bought an inflatable that had an 89 DT2. It starts and runs fine for about 2 or 3 minutes, then the rpm slowly decrease until it just dies. I took the carb completely apart, cleaned it and reset the float height correctly, but that made no difference. The impeller is new, and it does not seem like overheating - after it dies, it still turns over easily, it just won't restart for 4 or 5 minutes, then it will run for a minute and slowly die again. Any suggestions?
