89 Force 125 Not firing on Top 2 cylinders replaced 1 CD and trigger thus far.

Hi, I am new to this community and this is my first boat. Im only 23 years old ex Navy and dont know much. Anyhow I have replace the trigger and one CD I have the blue CD and blue coil packs. At first i though it was a CD I cross wired it and got spark to the top two. I bought a used CD and now its the same issue. So, I have replaced the trigger and a CD. I get spark to 3 and 4 but not 1 and 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have checked and rechecked for loose wiring. If someone can hold my hand and walk me thru the process I would be forever grateful. Im open to suggestions and ideas. Thank you very much.

So I tried something different I jumped the #4 to the #2 where the leads go into from the stator and the CD and now I get spark on 1 and 4 and not 3 and 4. So am I correct to say that I need a new stator?
