Hello and Thank you for any advise I recieve

I am new to the boating world and before i started spending alot of money on a nice boat I bought a "practice" boat cheap, ran great for 8 or so months and now I cant get her to start, went i turn the key i get either a click from a relay or the starter slowly turns and then starts clicking, Like a dead battery, I have since replaced starter, 2 new batteries & cables, ignition switch and all fuses, when i jump starter is spins fast but doesnt engage the flywheel, what else can i be looking for? motor spins freely by hand, all other electrical works, just cant get the starter to spin fast enough to crank motor! HELP PLEASE!

Hi, Pixguy.

Welcome to iboats. :)

Go to the Engine FAQs forum and find "Outboard won't start". There is a section there for troubleshooting the starter circuit. You may have bad connections to your battery or the engine or you may have a bad solenoid.

If it spins fast??? Maybe the cables are backwards??
Cable?? Bad, broken?
Does the bendix engage the flywheel at all?
Remove the plugs and do a compression test??
Post your results.
