Looking at buying this boat at a local marina in Toronto (private sale)

750 hours showing on the clock
red paint on hull looked kinda faded
engine started up fine and idled nicely
seats definitely showing signs of old age
noticed wetness in the footwell where you enter the cabin
interior plastic surfaces along the gunwhales not so hot
comes with older radio, 5 life jackets. No trailer.
Is $9000 too much? He wants 9 and will include the slip for the season. (that is worth around 6-7 hundred)
I was thinking to offer hil7800 contingent upon a good ride.
What do you think? Truly appreciate your input!

Re: 89 Formula 223 LS

Is the other drive that may be on this boat called Bravo? If so, that's what it is, I saw "Bravo" on the air filter housing decal.

Also, the owner said it will do 50 MPH....I know that these boats can do 60, but he said that was if using a different prop.. I think this boat still has the original prop.

Ayuh,.... What drive,..?? if it's an Alpha, I wouldn't touch it....
