89 Johnson 25....rich and wet plugs

I have an 1989 Johnson 25 and it is running really rough. When you take the plugs out they are really wet. The motor has not run in ten years so I rebuilt the carb before running motor. What should I check to cure the rough running and wet plugs. Thanks

Running rough is hard to visualize, Chip.<br /><br />Sounds to me like you are too rich. That could be a stuck float needle or the float level set too high.<br /><br />Good luck.
