The other day the family was out in the boat.... and just after we got out of the marina, I opened it up and it started to misfire several times, and then it just stalled out. We floated for about a half hour while I cranked and cranked and cranked, ate a sandwich and then cranked some more. Finally choking the heck out of it (the whole time) it fired up again, and it seemed to run fine (as fine as an over used... poor compressioned machine could run..lol) for the rest of the afternoon that we were on the water. The one gas tank was almost empty (that we were using at the time) so I'm wondering if maybe there could have been some sort of "vapor lock" in the gas line that made it stall out? Anyone have any ideas on this sort of thing?? Thanks!!

Mine gets fussey like that sometimes. I doubt that it is vapor lock like in an aut engine. When cold, mine want a ton of fuel - then when they decide to run, they act just like they were flooded. After a bit of fartin & fussin they smooth out. I have gotten used to it.
