Sunday during a day out the motor didnot miss a beat, however after running 2 hrs, the motor seemed to have a slippage in the prop. This was very brief, but about a minute later the prop stopped turning alltogether. The motor runs great, but the prop will not engage in forward or reverse even while flushing the motor on the driveway. I didnot hear anything break so to speak. Does this sound like a spun hub?

Put a 2x4 between the prop blade and the cavitation plate, then turn the flywheel, clockwise. You will see some flex but with the symptoms you describe,if the hub is spun, that flywheel will turn freely while the propshaft spins inside the hub.Of course all this is done in gear with plug wires unplugged to prevent starting. If that flywheel does not spin and has only some flex or it spins and there is no slippage at the propshaft, then we have other things to discuss.
