Hey guys, My boat has been sitting for about 7 years and with a little TLC I got her fired up. It's an 89 OMC 2.3L I have a few questions:

I went out for a test run and when I tried to get on plain the boat pitched up and then the motor picked up speed but the boat kept plowing along as if somthing was slipping. My gut tells me that my shift rod height is not right. Any ideas?

I also drained the drive oil to check for water and found the upper area was like a milkshake but I think that's my seal around the water punp shaft and the top cover...The lower unit oil was slightly milky but I think that's from the issue up top....Any suggestions or Tips?

My buddy noticed that my exhaust bellow had holes in it at every high point. (to be honest that was that way since I was a kid so I thought that was normal....ooooppps). Any Ideas how to keep that from rubbing?

Thanks for your help

Ryan
