'89 Bayliner Capri BR 3.0 OMC I4 I/O Cobra Outdrive
The boat has been in the water for 2 months and has been running better and better with use. The carb was completely rebuilt along with new points and plugs. Engine has been running well after some adjustments to the idle screw and set screws. Motor runs strong and smooth. However, in order to start it, the drive must be in neutral and you must give it some gas in neutral. The boat is in great shape and runs as well as it looks, but it does not start well. it only starts well on cold starts when the choke engages, warm starts are always a little rough. any ideas? thanks
