First ride of the season noticed the drive was noisy.upon removal found water in the bellows.bellows was old and cracked.also noticed water in outdrive.( Milky).could water get forced into the drive because my bellows was full of water?I did a quick pressure test and saw no noticeable leaks.

water should not enter thru the bellows area there is a seal that keeps water out oil in. Pressure and vacuum check drive. Besure to fill gear oil properly

bad bellows lets water in where it shouldnt be. the water then rusts the input shaft and that tears up the input shaft seal.

so water enters thru the bearing, thru the now killed seal into the drive.

time for a re-seal, new u-joints, new bellows, and probably a new gimbal bearing.
