Hey guys
I have an '89 four winns 210 horizon with 5.7l omc and cobra outdrive the original prestolite distributor broke a spring on the mechanical advance I looked hi n low for one to no avail. I have decided to go with the pertronix ignitorII plug n play bullet distributor. Has anyone done this exact conversion? I have looked at the pertronics site and seen their makeshift fix for the shift assist. I have a little reservation of how much of a long term fix this will be. I have also looked at the new ESA upgrade boxes. I would like to ask yalls opnion and if someone could give me an exact part number on the ESA upgrade modual and if some one has done this same conversion to please walk me through what they did. I should have the new distributor here in a day or two so I am just trying to decide what approch I am going to take about installing it.
