89 OMC Cobra shift assist adjustment

M 89 OMC 5.8L Cobra's shift assist module won't disingage at idle speed. I have to rev it some to get it to disconnect. Where is the adjustment on this, and how do I adjust it?

If not me, then I'm sure someone would come along and mention Stuart Hasting's website about OMC Cobras and how to adjust the linkage.

I have a factory manual for the 1989 OMCs if you need a few scanned pages.
